MS Technology Student Association 2017 Conference
“Learning to live in a technical world”
The Technology Student Association is an association of middle and high school students who have a dedicated interest in Technology.
Mississippi has been affiliated with the National Technology Student Association since 1978. There are 20 middle school chapters and 58 high school chapters from all over the state of Mississippi with 2,610 members
TSA is technology driven. Students will compete in over 70 events in Tupelo on March 27 – 29, 2017. Students can work individually or as a team in such areas as agriculture and biotechnology, website design, dragster design, flight challenge, film technology, CAD Engineering, extemporaneous speaking, promotional design, scientific visualization or vex robotics.
Not only do students compete, but they learn Leadership skills as well.
This program is operated through the Mississippi Department of Education’s Career and Technical Education Student Organization Division. Students that are in the following programs compete in this organization: Digital Media Technology, Engineering and Robotics, Information and Communication Technology I (ICT I), Information and Communication Technology II (ICT II), Information Technology, Simulation and Animation, STEM and Technology Foundations.
